Say what??? Apparently, you are supposed to be able to bathe your infant in one of these. Tummy Tub is what it's called. It's made to mimic the womb. Not to mention it looks like something out of a bad sci-fi movie.
Now, if I'm not mistaken, the Butterbean likes his space. Likes to spread out and kick, squirm, etc. This "tummy tub" would not be condusive to his groove. It would make for one heck of a time bathing him too.
And how would one bathe the child's under parts? You would literally have to pick up your slippery wet baby, wash them off making sure to hold them very tightly or risk them plowing back into said watery womb. You'd probably get all wet from doing this, have a cold screaming baby and a miserable mama. With the diapers I have experienced lately . . . serious washing would have to take place. I'm just not buying the hype.
I'm a little scared to see what will they think of next.
seriously....who thinks of this stuff? and how in the world did they get that baby to smile? that device looks like a terrible time-out chair to me. :)
