Thanksgiving at the Lake!

Well, Nathan had his first 16 hour drive to Green Lake, WI. He actually did really well in the car. We left last Saturday after Brock got off work and drove through the night. It made it a little easier on Nathan to travel through the night. We stopped off in Chicago to see my sister and the boys. (Click here to see her new blog!) Brock was able to see Chicago for the first time. We had a great time. We then left to go to Wisconsin and see the rest of the family. We played in the snow and had the whole family bowling on the Wii! It was fun to watch my Papa bowl and golf! But he was really good at it! We went over to and Amish village in Dalton, WI one day and I took Brock all over the place showing him everything. He liked it so much that he wants to go back this summer and spend more time up there. Much to my amazement we talked about buying a farm up there and raising dairy cows! (not going to happen, but it's fun to dream(I do have to say that the blankets of snow covering the rolling farm land is the most beautiful thing this time of year.
